A member of both the Australian Sevens and Wallaroos for several years, Debby Hodgkinson has competed in both a Sevens and 15s World Cup, winning the 2009 Sevens Rugby World Cup with Australia.

In 2009, Hodgkinson was the most decorated player in Women's Rugby, winning every accolade on offer.

She was awarded the Player of the Series at the 2009 Sevens Rugby World Cup, IRB Women's Personality of the Year and named Australia's best Sevens player at the 2009 John Eales Medal.
