Alicia Molik started playing tennis at age seven after watching her older brother, Richard. By 13, she was involved in pennant competition and attending training camps alongside compatriot Lleyton Hewitt.

Since that point, Alicia has worked hard to carve out an impressive career that includes five WTA singles and seven doubles titles, (including two Grand Slams), 13 ITF singles and nine doubles titles, an Olympic medal and a career-high ranking of eight in the world.

She retired in September 2008, but couldn't shake the urge to play competitive tennis, so she launched a comeback 12 months later. Since re-joining the tour, Alicia has represented Australia in the Fed Cup, as well as making a return to the top 100.

Alicia's favourite city is Melbourne and the tennis player she most admires is Steffi Graf. Outside of tennis, Alicia enjoys golf, in-line skating, squash and going to the beach.
