Kate Gill has been a Westfield Matilda since earning her first A-International cap in 2004 and has featured in the 2002 FIFA Women's U20 World Cup, 2007 FIFA Women's World Cup, 2008 AFC Women's Asian Cup and in the triumphant 2010 AFC Women's Asian Cup team in China. Kate is currently the 2nd highest all-time goal scorer in Westfield Matildas history with 32 goals. Away from football Kate writes a monthly column for Australian FourFourTwo and is an ambassador for Adidas. In 2010 Kate was named AFC Women's Player of the Year and has since gone on to become an AFC Goodwill Ambassador conducting visits in Vietnam to help raise awareness and fight hunger for the AFC and UN's Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO). Kate's club history has included stints at Newcastle Jets (AUS), Perth Glory (AUS), AIK Fotboll Dam, SunnanÌ´ SK, LdB Malm̦ and Link̦ping FC (all Sweden).
