USA BMX National - Disney Cup Orlando Florida

This past weekend's ABA National rounds were held in Orlando Florida.

The three day race weekend turned out to be quite draining on everyones body. Its very uncommon throughout the season to race three separate race meetings over three days.

Before heading off to Florida we celebrated my 22nd Birthday and yep...I definitely got spoilt :)

The ABA race format for Elite Women is three heats (mottos) then a final each day.

Day 1

Haro's Brooke Crain and myself battled to get the whole-shot (lead) and inside run going into turn one. Lauren Reynolds had an amazing first straight and took the lead. I sat in behind her lining up the last turn setting myself up to pass her down the last straight. I came home strong to take day the win on day one.

Day 2 & 3

I took track position down the first straight whole-shotting and taking the lead into turn one and from there is was smooth sailing to the line.

Three wins not only gave me some great ABA points but a nice big Disney Cup Champion trophy.

With one more ABA National round before the overall Grand National event in Tulsa Oklahoma I have set my self up in a position by winning the past five consecutive races to be in the running for the #1 Girl Pro American Title.

The title chase continues...
