PARALYMPICS: Final race day today!
It is the morning of my final race of the London 2012 Paralympic Games. Today I will get to wear the green and gold in the C4-5 women’s road race.
This will be a tough race for the C4 (of which I am one) as the C5 women are extremely strong and fast. I am not expecting to medal in this event, I am however going to fight until the end and make sure that I give my all and hopefully make Australia proud.
I also wanted to say thank you for all the support I have had from back home. Especially the support of kids at Balgowlah Heights Primary School, Balgowlah North Primary School and Maroochydore State School. Thank you for your messages of support, they have inspired me to try harder and do more than I ever thought I could.
Bring on the final race of the competition. Another great day to ride my bicycle!
