Q & A

Greatest sporting achievement: Pitching at World Championships in 2010 and College World Series 2010

Greatest achievement off the field: Being able to handle going to University in Hawaii, and being a student-athlete

Who is your sporting heroine? My mum

How many hours per week to you train/exercise? While in College we practice for around about 3 hours a day, and we do at least 3 extra cardio sessions a week.

What kind of diet or nutrition plan are you on? Just trying to eat a balanced diet. It is kind of hard being in college and not having too much time to prepare food, but I live with my sister and we try our best to cook or eat a healthy meal every night.

What do you love about your sport? The competiveness it brings between everyone, and just the fact that you make lifelong friends.

If you could change something about your sport, what would it be? Definitely publicity, we do not get enough media or public attention. Definitely to be put back in the Olympics.

What motivates you? I want a gold medal to hang around my neck. This definitely motivates me to train harder and to put more effort in, not only on the softball field but in the weight room and on the track running.

Do you have a profession outside of your sport? I am currently a student at the University of Hawaii, Manoa.

Three words that describe you:  Outgoing, bubbly, and competitive.

If I wanted to play your sport, what advice would you give me? Train hard and have fun while doing it.
