Who is your sporting heroine? My Mother
How many hours per week to you train/exercise? In Season between 20 – 30 hrs , out of comp, 15 – 20 hrs
What kind of diet or nutrition plan are you on? Don’t really have one, I just try to eat healthy and decent size meals
What do you love about your sport? The competition and meeting new people. I have made wonderful friends through the sport. I have learned about life and the person that I want to be through basketball, I guess that I grew up in basketball has helped me understand the necessity of sport in every person’s life
If you could change something about your sport, what would it be? That we would earn the same amount of money as men do. We have to travel so far around the world to make professional athletes dollars! To be able to do it here in Australia and not play year round in foreign countries would benefit all of us, the toll 12 months a year takes on our bodies is evident
What motivates you? When I was young it was to be the best I could be, now as I get older it’s to just really enjoy the last few years of my professional career and have as much fun as humanely possible!!!
Do you have a profession outside of your sport? No, I’m working on BA right now majoring in Gender studies, I hope to work in Rape crisis, Humanitarian aid and activism for gender equality in the future
