Greatest sporting achievement: Winning 10 medals at last year’s state titles and winning 2 gold and 1 silver at the 2009 Australian Surf Lifesaving titles

Greatest achievement off the field: Teaching Nippers life skills out of the water and saving lives while on patrol at the beach on weekends

Who is your sporting heroine? Serena Williams

How many hours per week to you train/exercise? Over 20 hours per week and race most weekends during summer

What kind of diet or nutrition plan are you on? I have a very healthy diet but I don’t mind spoiling myself at times. I make sure I have plenty of fruit and veggies everyday and I’m a massive fan of Coconut water

What do you love about your sport? I love that in the water it’s super competitive but out of the water everyone is great friends and we get to race at all the beautiful beaches this country has to offer

If you could change something about your sport, what would it be? Probably the danger element. Sometimes I feel the conditions are the beach are too rough and out of control to compete in

What motivates you? The desire to win and achieve my personal goals. To do what people say cannot be done!

Do you have a profession outside of your sport? I teach people how to Kayak

If I wanted to play your sport, what advice would you give me? To be patient. The more time you spend in the water the better. Learn to read the surf and have respect for the ocean
