Greatest achievement off the field: 1st in the state for PDHPE in HSC 2011 and 99.1 ATAR

Who is your sporting heroine? Anna Meares

How many hours per week to you train/exercise? 6 days a week, twice a day with sessions being 2-2.5 hours long.

What do you love about your sport? It’s fun, exciting and challenging both physically and mentally. There’s always something new to learn on the water and it’s never the same.

If you could change something about your sport, what would it be? Gender equity! I would love to see more women events because at the moment there is only one event for the women and 3 for the men at the Olympics. Hopefully in 2016 Women C1 will be added to the program .

What motivates you? Olympic Gold! And seeing how far I can go in the sport.

Do you have a profession outside of your sport? Currently studying

Three words that describe you: bubbly, determined and friendly

If I wanted to play your sport, what advice would you give me? Don’t hesitate - you need to be confident to get through the whitewater rapids.
